Artwork
These are questions we will ask you about your art for your graphics project....
We will need it in an electronic form.
What type file do you have? -the type of file is determined by the letters on the right side of the dot in the name.
examples: .pdf, .eps, .svg, .ai are a few that work the best!
What program was the original art created in?
We use CorelDraw and Signlab.
If you did not create the original file can you get a copy from the original artist?
Who ever designed your art should be able to give you a vector art file. You will not be able to open this with out a vector program.
We recommend you get a .pdf and a high res jpg so you know what the vector file looks like.
If you do not have an acceptable file format....
If you have the contact info for the original artist, we could try to get the proper file type for you from your designer.
We will do the legwork for you as we find many of our customers do not quite understand what we need.
Note that some artist/designers may charge extra to get a vector copy.
We do not! Once you have paid us for creating your vector art we will give you a copy when you need it.
If you cannot get your art in an electronic form…We could recreate your art.
In some cases this is the only way to go.
Expect an art charge but then you will have a workable piece of art that we can export into many file types for other uses.
A good investment. And we do not hold your logo for ransom!
We could create something new for you.
Want a different / new look?
We can design something new for you in the correct file type.
There will be an art charge but you will have a design useful for many applications.
A great investment!
File types that we can use...
Check with Jestek first as to what type will work with your particular project. All text must be converted to curves.

Images from the internet. There are a lot of cool things on the internet but they are many times at a very low resolution as well as having a copyright. There are a few web sites that you can buy, for a very low price, clip art and photos for use. We suggest using these, if you are unsure what to use in your project.
Here is just a few websites to purchase clip art, there are many others:
www.clipart.com
www.vector-images.com
www.etsy.com Search for art description with .SVG
Copyright Items: Jestek will not use copyrighted items unless you have written permission to use them.
NOTE: Photos printed on an inkjet printer will have a lower quality finish compared to the original electronic version or original hard copy photograph. We suggest simply email your photo file from your camera to us.
All art files should be emailed to
[email protected]
SUBJECT LINE: your name and/or your companies name and the word ART
Include the project description and all of your contact info in body of the email.
You will get a reply email if your art work was successfully sent.
If you do not get a reply email in 24 hours please contact us.
